Blast to the Past History Camp will be held Monday – Friday, August 6th – 10th from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Octagon House Museum, 1004 3rd Street, Hudson. This camp is for children age 7 to 12.
Blast to the Past History Camp is a chance to learn about the history of Hudson while having tons of fun! History camp combines learning with fun activities such as crazy games, trip to playgrounds, water balloon shenanigans, and making delicious homemade ice cream to name a few.
Your child will learn about general themes in national and state history as well as the history of Hudson. We will go on walking field trips around town to learn about important people from Hudson, major industries in Hudson’s history, and the architecture of downtown Hudson. We will take a ride aboard a nostalgic trolley car experiencing an era of the past.
The camp ends with a presentation by the campers on important historical figures at the Octagon House Museum Family Fun Night summer celebration! Please send a bag lunch, a snack and a water bottle each day of camp.
