Family Fun Night at the Museum on August 10

The Historical Society will host its annual Family Fun Night at the Museum on Friday, August 10th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Octagon House Museum, at 1004 3rd Street, Hudson. This is a free event and open to the public. Families are invited to enjoy an evening full of family friendly games, activities and refreshments.

Entertainment and activities include: face painting, old-fashioned yard games, craft booths and story time with children’s librarian Mary Davis.

Enjoy refreshments with homemade baked goods and beverages. (refreshments are free, but donations are welcomed and appreciated).

In the event of rain, this event will be canceled.

Octagon House Museum

The St. Croix County Historical Society maintains the Octagon House Museum complex, which is open for guided tours May through October & December. In addition to the gracious eight-sided house with Victorian era furnishings, the complex includes the Garden House with its 19th century life, domestic arts, carpenter, blacksmith, and general store tableaux; and the Carriage House, which includes the Museum Gift Shop and research center. All structures are set amid expansive, beautifully maintained gardens.
