The St. Croix County Historical Society will delve into the supernatural with a new Victorian Superstitions and Ghost Stories Tour at the Octagon House Museum. Set for Saturday, October 20th at 7 p.m., this tour offers a glimpse into Victorian superstitions and customs surrounding death.
Take a candlelit tour of the museum as guides share stories of how Victorians would warded off the Grim Reaper, prevent hauntings and avoid evil spirits. Learn how Victorians honored their dead and hear ghostly tales of spirits from Hudson’s past.
The tour cost is $15 per person, or $10 for SCCHS members. This tour is intended for adults. Space is limited to 20 people and tour are offered on a first come basis. If the demand is high and the 7 p.m. tour fills, second tour will be added at 8 p.m.
